Woodson Incorporated is an established forestry company with offices in both AR & LA. Woodson has an immediate need for Groundman in the AR area. Must be willing to work with a safety first mindset. Competitive pay, full benefits and paid time off. Experience in logging or construction industry is a plus.
Duties:
oResponsible for the operation, maintenance and up-keep of assigned chainsaw, parts and equipment.
oWorks closely with Equipment Operators by location and marking job site hazards.
oStays in direct contact with the Operator with radio or hand signals at all times.
oWorks with Foresters to mark risk trees and assist in other forestry related issues.
oFence repair, gate installation and traffic control.
Skills /
Qualifications:
oExperienced in chainsaw operations.
oMust be able to work in spite of weather conditions.
oMust be able to perform strenous activities
oMust be able to work on feet for extended amounts of time.
oKnowledge of basic mechanics of small engines.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
